After nine years in business, we've developed some pretty solid methods of getting everything done efficiently, quickly and in the most pleasant manner possible.
We really like to make our customers happy. Here's a brief synopsis of our process of creating a great design:
We begin every job by meeting with the client, either in person or by phone if the client is too far away, and discussing the details of the project. We then draw up a contract describing the details of the job and how much it's going to cost.
Raven's Eye Design charges $50 an hour for all services, and every job takes a different amount of time to complete. Therefore, we figure out exactly how much each job is going to cost before we begin. We and our client each sign the contract, and we each keep a copy.
The contract outlines the details of what's being done, when it'll be done by and how much it will cost. This way, there are never any unpleasant surprises upon completion of a job.
There are, however, pleasant surprises—because we often complete projects for less than the agreed-on amount, and before our agreed-on deadlines.
Once we begin work on a job, the client is usually amazed at how quickly we complete each stage of the work, and at how high the quality of our work is consistently.
We provide a first proof of the work, usually through a password protected area on this web site, where the client can either view a working version of the web site in progress or download a printable proof of a design or layout. Sometimes we meet in person for proofing.
Then, usually we head back to the drawing boards to rework the design incorporating our client's feedback. We like to offer expert guidance to our clients, but we also are careful to always listen to what each client wants and needs, and our final product is a balanced result of this dialogue.
